Acclaimed director Sekhar Kammula is currently doing a film titled 'Kubera' with Tamil actor Dhanush and 'Naa Saami Ranga' actor Akkineni Nagarjuna. Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, the film will hit the screens later this year.
The news is that the film's Bangkok schedule has begun. Nagarjuna and a few other actors from the team are taking part in the schedule where some talkie and action parts will be canned.
Giving the shoot update, the makers also put out a working still. Usually, Kammula's movies don't involve foreign schedules. He chooses to set his films in locations that feel lived-in for the characters. With 'Kubera', he is surely attempting something new.
'Kubera' has Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine. 'Pushpa 2' and 'Kanguva' composer Devi Sri Prasad is dishing out tunes for the movie. Niketh Bommi of Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' is the film's Director of Photography. Producer designers Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre of 'Rangasthalam' fame are also working on the movie. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd are planning to release 'Kubera' on a grand scale in Telugu and Tamil.
