'Bhavani Ward', whose story is apparently set in 1997, is partly inspired by true incidents. Starring Gayathri Gupta, Ganesh Reddy, Pooja Kendre, Tollywood cine publicist Sai Satish, and Jabardasth Apparao in important roles, the horror thriller is helmed by GD Narasimmha. Jointly produced by Kalyan Chakravarthy and Chandrakanth Solanki on Avi Creations and Vibhu Productions, it will hit the screens in the month of April.
At the film's first event today, the director said that the cooperation of the entire cast and the support extended by the producers made the film possible in the first place. He iterated that 'Bhavani Ward' will be embraced by lovers of horror-thrillers as well as others. Producer Kalyan Chakravarthy spoke of his resolve to back small films that are rich in content.
Gayathri Gupta said that the director's workmanship is brilliant. She added that it was fun shooting for 'Bhavani Ward'. Ganesh Reddy thanked the media for supporting the project. He urged the audience to watch the film in theatres.
Pooja Kendre said that she doesn't know Telugu and that she comes from a Marathi background. "You will know about me with this movie," the young actress stated with confidence.
Sai Satish said that he is both the film's publicist and a member of the cast. He thanked the director for roping him in for a pivotal part.
With music by Solomon Raj and the BGM by Nissi Justin, the horror-thriller is yet to lock its release date.
