'Kaliyugam Pattanamlo': 'Jo Jo Lali Amma' is a touching 'Amma' song

'Amma' songs constitute a genre of their own. From Mahesh Babu's 'Nani' to the more recent 'Oke Oka Jeevitham', Telugu cinema has continuously reinvented songs dedicated to mothers.

In this context, the latest song from ‘Kaliyugam Pattanamlo’ brings a breath of fresh air. Ajay Arasada's soothing composition adds to its appeal. Bhaskarabhatla's lyrics are contemporary, which is an advantage. Anurag Kulkarni's rendition brings to mind the depth reminiscent of his 'Asha Pasham' song from 'Care Of Kancharapalem'.

The film, produced by Dr. Kandula Chandra Obul Reddy, will hit the screens on March 22. Writer-director Ramakhanth Reddy has been joined by Vishwa Karthikeya and Ayushi Patel, the lead pair of this promising movie.

Also produced by G Maheswara Reddy and Kattam Ramesh, 'Kaliyugam Pattanamlo' is touted to be a first-of-its-kind entertainer both in terms of its story and narrative structure. The film is edited by Gary BH. Chandra Bose and Bhaskara Bhatla have written the film's many songs. Shot by director of photography Charan Madhavanei, the film's stunts have been done by Premsun and dance choreography is by Moin Master.
