The Release Trailer for 'Siddharth Roy' is titled 'The World Of Siddharth Roy', which was unveiled ahead of the film's theatrical release on February 23.
Deepak Saroj (the child artist of 'Athadu', 'Arya', 'Pournami', 'Bhadra' and 'Legend' fame is now a hero) is introduced as a born genius who took to practical thinking even as a child. As a child, when Siddharth experienced pain, he staunchly refused to shed tears, questioning the utility of weeping. "Does weeping reduce the pain caused by a wound?" he would inquire, leaving his mother bewildered. Growing up, Siddharth maintained a distance from emotions and embraced love in his own unique manner. "My kind of love is different," Siddharth asserts in the trailer.
Director V Yeshasvi's flawed protagonist is a genius who might come of age after he experiences suffering due to his high IQ. Is there a spiritual lesson in store? His life is his message, perhaps. The hero's look and hairdo, the dialogues and stoic facial expressions have been designed to show him as a philosopher whose overthinking is a bane.
With music composed by Radhan, the film co-stars Tanvi Negi, Anand, Kalyani Natarajan, Matthew Varghese, Nandini and Keerthana. Produced by Jaya Adapaka, the film's cinematography is by Shyam K Naidu.
