'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' arrived at the cinemas on February 16. Starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead, the fantasy thriller is directed by Vi Anand.
In a statement today, Hasya Movies and AK Entertainments said that their movie grossed Rs 20.30 Cr by the end of Sunday after making Rs 6.03 Cr on day one (Friday), Rs 7.07 Cr on day two (Saturday), and Rs 7.20 Cr on day three (Sunday). The makers added that the supernatural fantasy is a profit-making project in the US. It is set to reach the safe zone in domestic areas very soon," they added.
In our review, we counted the film's plot unfolding in a fictional village as a major plus. "The interval bang is not mind-blowing but it does make the audience wait for the second half. The characters played by Vadivukkarasi and Ravi Shankar uplift the film's mood. Since this is a fantasy, the director used the puzzled outsider trope well," we opined. The film's music has been done by Shekar Chandra.
