Remake 'Bramayugam' with Megastar Chiranjeevi!

'Bramayugam', the dark fantasy horror thriller film in Malayalam directed by Rahul Sadasivan, has secured a distinguished position among the star-driven movies in Mollywood. The Telugu audience is now embracing the Malayalam version of the film.

Movie buffs want Chiranjeevi to keep aside his Megastardom for a while and do its Telugu remake. "He has remade the outdated 'Vedhalam'. He remade the tricky 'Lucifer'. Both of them were low-hanging fruit. Chiru must remake 'Bramayugam' to challenge himself. If the film becomes a hit, he can go on to do big-ticket experimentation in the future," a film observer opined.

Praneeth Hanumantwo, a YouTuber, wrote, "I am so glad I went out to watch 'Bramayugam' in a theatre. Makes the best use of sound design. Truly IMMERSIVE. Not sure if the black-and-white choice was about the period, but it adds so much to the overall eerie vibe. Lowkey want someone to remake it with Chiranjeevi."

The desire to see Chiru in an unusual role goes beyond the 'Bramayugam' fandom. Echoing similar views, film critic Ram Venkat Srikar wrote, "We love this man (Chiranjeevi) and all but I want to see him play an outright EVIL character on screen sometime. Just imagine the kind of acting range we are not getting to witness."
