'Pushpa', 'Rangasthalam' and 'Waltair Veerayya' fame Mythri Movie Makers has teamed up with director Phanindra Narsetti of 'Manu' (2018) fame to produce a concept-driven, semi-experimental movie. Marking Valentine’s Day, the banner has revealed that '8 Vasantalu' is the title of the coming-of-age romance drama. Narsetti, who made the award-winning short film 'Madhuram' many years ago, is returning to the silver screen after nearly six years.
"The narrative of our film unfolds over 8 years, tapping into the many ebbs and flows of life of a graceful young woman," the makers said. A rose is seen soaking in the rain in the tastefully done title poster. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are yet to reveal the release date.
Going by the poster, although the title is old-school, the film is going to be poetic and fresh. "Life is all about making memories, one day at a time," the poster says. Is Narsetti telling the story of a woman who is looking back at her life in the light of new experiences? Is this a feel-good romance, a semi-tragedy, or something else? The makers haven't revealed anything as yet.
So far, the names of even the main cast and crew haven't been revealed.
