'I Hate Love' is the title of an upcoming romantic drama directed by Venkatesh VI. Produced by Dr. Bala Ravi on Ravi Art Productions, the film's Trailer was released recently.
Dr. Subbu and Srivalli are paired up in this rural drama as lovers. The film's pre-release event was held today in Hyderabad ahead of the film's theatrical release on February 16.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Dr. Bala Ravi said that he had migrated out of India 47 years ago. "I have returned to India with the intention of making a good film. I want to do something for this country. We set up an NGO in my town and made contributions towards the education of many people. As for 'I Hate Love', this film has been made to generate livelihood opportunities. Even though this film is a love story, if you care to scratch the surface, it is about how families are being destroyed by social media. The undercurrent is how romances go awry. True love withstands only because of traditions and sacrifices made by the individuals involved. The setting is a Godavari Village," he added.
The director said that the film has been completed thanks only to the producer's support. "Thematically and aesthetically, 'I Hate Love' is as beautiful as the Konaseema region," he added.
With music done by Peddapalli Rohith, the film is edited by TC Prasanna. Vasu and Phani have done the cinematography. Eshwar Penti has choreographed the songs.
