Bigg Boss Telugu fame Syed Sohel Ryan has done four films so far as a lead man. He is the only Bigg Boss Telugu participant with the maximum number of films as a lead actor after his stint with the reality show. Even popular trophy winners haven't done these many films. Undoubtedly, Sohel has a risk appetite. It is said that he has invested his personal wealth in 'Bootcut Balaraju', his latest box-office release. The film, unfortunately for him, is turning out to be a flop.
On Friday, Sohel made a fervent appeal to the audience to watch the family-friendly movie in theatres. "I have made this film to cater to those audiences who want to watch films with their elders and siblings. Those who have watched 'Bootcut Balaraju' are loving it. They care calling it cute. But the same is not translating into collections. Why are people not watching my movies in theatres? Next time, I will do films infused with kissing scenes and lip locks," Sohel said.
The film co-stars Indraja, Rajeev Kanakala and others. Siri Hanumanth, the popular YouTube star, is a college-going girl in the film.
