Actor Dhanush, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in a pan-Indian film directed by Sekhar Kammula. Produced on a lavish scale by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, the untitled film went on the floors on Wednesday.
Devi Sri Prasad has collaborated with the 'Happy Days' director for the project. After working with the likes of Mickey J Meyer and Pawan CH (for 'Love Story'), Kammula has joined hands with an out-and-out commercial composer like DSP for the first time. The buzz is that Kammula and the producers want a wholesome album that suits the tastes of the audiences across languages. They could think only for DSP to accomplish the job.
DSP will thoroughly enjoy working with Kammula, whose sensibilities are different from the kind of treatment star directors like Sukumar are known for. The film is also likely to have at least four full-fledged songs, especially because it is a multi-starrer.
Niketh Bommi will crank the camera, while Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre take care of production design. The tentpole movie of Kammula will hit the screens in the second half of this year.
