‘Operation Valentine’ is slated to hit the screens on February 16 in Telugu and Hindi. The patriotic air force drama will become the first-ever film to have a song launched at the iconic Wagah border in Amritsar. The makers made the announcement today.
"Following the tremendous success of the First Strike video, which was released in December last year, we have now decided to unveil the much-awaited first song of the film on January 17 in the run-up to Republic Day," the makers today said.
The song is titled 'Vande Mantaram' and will be sung by Anurag Kulkarni in Telugu. The Hindi version will be rendered by Sukhwinder Singh. It is a Mickey J Meyer composition.
Manushi Chhillar, who is making her Telugu debut with this bilingual film, will make a remarkable appearance at the Wagah border parade while they launch the song, making it a historic event.
"The excitement around the film is only going to grow multifold with this song amplifying the pan-Indian hysteria. With great posters and video assets, our film is turning out to be the most talked about film in Varun’s career," the makers added in a statement.
The film is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda’s Renaissance Pictures, and co-produced by God Bless Entertainment and Nandakumar Abbineni. Shakti Pratap Singh Hada is directing it.
