'Eagle', starring Ravi Teja in the lead, is directed by Karthik Gattamaneni and produced by People Media Factory. On Wednesday, a section of the media claimed that the film will not be released for Sankranthi. Ravi Teja's fans were worried that the film has been elbowed out by the tight Sankranthi race led by 'Guntur Kaaram', 'Saindhav', 'Hanu-Man' and 'Naa Saami Ranga'.
Soon enough, producer TG Vishwa Prasad, via social media, conveyed that 'Eagle' was awarded UA by the CBFC and that the film will hit the screens on January 13.
It was confirmed that the thriller will be released in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
'Eagle' will have multiple perspectives of the same event. It's also a dark comedy at one level. 'Eagle', starring Kavya Thapar as one of the heroines, is going to be a big release. The director has cranked the camera in association with Kamil Plocki and Karm Chawla. Different portions have been shot by different cinematographers. With dialogues penned by Manibabu Karanam, the film has music by Davzand.
