'Eagle', starring Ravi Teja in the lead, is directed by Karthik Gattamaneni and produced by People Media Factory. It will hit the screens on January 13, 2024.
A thriller, its narrative structure is inspired by 'Virumaandi' (Tamil; 2004), which had Kamal Haasan in the lead. For the unversed, this is what its story was about. Two prison inmates are interviewed by a character. Kothala Thevar and Virumaandi are their names. "The criminals express how they feel about the direction that their lives have taken and how they have ended up where they are. The film's narrative is based on the Rashomon effect," says a Wikipedia post about the underrated film.
'Eagle' will have multiple perspectives of the same event. It's also a dark comedy at one level. 'Eagle', starring Kavya Thapar as one of the heroines, is going to be a big release. The director has cranked the camera in association with Kamil Plocki and Karm Chawla. Different portions have been shot by different cinematographers. With dialogues penned by Manibabu Karanam, the film has music by Davzand.
