Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has said that the shoot of 'Bimbisara 2' will commence in April or May 2024. The first edition was released in theatres in 2022. It became a blockbuster.
The makers of 'Bimbisara 2' haven't revealed who will be wielding the megaphone for the fantasy action entertainer. The first edition was directed by Mallidi Vassishta. But he won't be directing the second part because he will be making 'Vishwambara' with Megastar Chiranjeevi and UV Creations.
It is said that Mallidi and Kalyan Ram developed differences after the former decided not to take up the sequel immediately. The previous plan was to do the two films back to back. Had it been the case, 'Bimbisara 2' would have been released by now, thereby helping 'Devil'.
'Devil', whose trailer was released on Tuesday, will hit the screens on December 29 this year. Presented by Devansh Nama, Abhishek Nama is producing and directing this period drama under the banner of Abhishek Pictures. 'Devil' has its story, screenplay and dialogues provided by Srikanth Vissa. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is scoring the music for the film. Soundarajan will be handling the cinematography.
