At a time when she has slowed down on the acting front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has chosen to become a producer. After a string of flops like 'Shaakuntalam', she has floated a banner named Tralala Moving Pictures in association with Mandoa Media Works, a banner based in Hyderabad.
"Very excited to announce my production house, Tralala Moving Pictures @tralalamovingpictures," the actress, who was recently seen as Vijay Deverakonda's wife in 'Kushi', wrote on social media, adding that she aims to produce content representative of new age expressions and ways of thinking.
"A nurturing space which invites and encourages stories that speak to the strength and complexity of our social fabric. And a platform for filmmakers to tell stories that are meaningful, authentic and universal. (Inspired from one of my favourite songs growing up," she further wrote.
Samantha is most likely going to focus on non-film content. She will be producing content for digital streaming, TV and other formats.
On Sunday, the 'Majili' actress hosted a special premiere of 'Hi Nanna' for kids supported by her NGO, Prathyusha Support. The show took place at AMB Cinemas, Hyderabad.
