Last week, an awards event named Santosham South Indian Film Awards 2023 was held in Goa. Publisher, producer and distributor Suresh Kondeti was the organizer. The Santosham brand is owned by Kondeti himself. Reports stated that many Kannada and Tamil film industry celebs were not extended even bare minimum hospitality on the occasion. Sandalwood and Kollywood are expected to boycott the Santosham Awards events in the future.
Netizens, movie buffs and the media have identified Kondeti as a Public Relations Officer with close ties to Megastar Chiranjeevi.
On Monday, Allu Aravind made it clear that Kondeti can't be described as associated with the Mega family in any manner. He asserted that whatever happened at the recent awards event is entirely on one person and not the Telugu film industry. Aravind implied that the media shouldn't describe Kondeti as a Mega family publicist.
On his part, Kondeti issued a statement clarifying that whatever some Kannada and Tamil film celebs had to experience was unintentional and that it happened due to miscommunication and logistical issues.
