It is official. The trailer for 'Salaar', helmed by Prashanth Neel and headlined by actor Prabhas, will drop on December 1. The film is produced by Hombale Films.
The trailer is going to be unleashed 22 days before the film's massive theatrical release. The action extravaganza will hit the screens on December 22.
If the trailer presents a cogent view of the film, the perception that the film has no strong story will subside. The trailer will also have to debunk the myth (?) that the film is an upgraded, amped-up version of Neel's Kannada movie 'Ugram'. But will it? We have to wait and watch.
Nizam distributors Mythri Movie Makers, Hindi version's distributors (AA Films), Tamil Nadu distributors Red Giant Movies (also producing Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' and 'Thug Life'), and Pharms Film Co. LLC (Overseas distributors) are ready to make huge profits.
'Salaar', which went on the floors in 2021, stars Shruti Haasan as the heroine. Jagapathi Babu and others are part of the cast. Ravi Basrur is its music director.
Prabhas might not participate in pre-release interviews. He might skip them the way he did in the case of 'Adipurush'.
