Director Gowtam Tinnanuri of Nani's 'Jersey' fame is gearing up for the release of a small-scale movie. A high-school romance, the untitled film is reportedly led by 'Ponniyin Selvan' fame Sara Arjun. The young actress was seen as the young Nandhini in the Mani Ratnam directorial.
Sithara Entertainments, which produced 'Jersey', has bankrolled this one as well. Shot by cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, the film reportedly has music by Anirudh Ravichander. A big banner making a content film with a small star cast is special. If this film works, Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas might do more such movies in the coming years.
Producer S Naga Vamsi, who awaits the release of Vishwak Sen's 'Gangs Of Godavari' later this year and Siddhu Jonnalagadda's 'Tillu Square' in February next year, is planning to release the Tinnanuri directorial soon.
As for Tinnanuri, he is going to do Vijay Deverakonda's much-delayed film in the second half of 2024. This film, a period spy actioner, was supposed to go on the floors in August this year. Vijay wanted to complete 'Family Star first'.
