'Dunki', starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, will hit the screens on December 21 or 22. On Thursday, director Rajkumar Hirani unleashed the film's first teaser, nicknamed 'Drop 1'. There will be 'Drop 2' later in November.
"Home is where the heart smiles the most. And at the heart of this film are people on a journey of friendship, love and their dreams," the director, known for blockbusters such as '3 Idiots' and 'Sanju', tweeted.
In no time, the fans of the 'Jawan' actor and the 'PK' director started inundating the makers with congratulations. They sense a true-blue blockbuster. "Classic Bollywood vibes. Nobody does it better than Raju sir. Shah Rukh Khan's fans should rejoice. This one will create unimaginable buzz pre and post release," a fanboy wrote. "This film is giving such a warm and fun feeling. It's refreshing to see SRK back in a light-hearted movie. Loved the vibes throughout. Seems like Hirani has cooked," tweeted a movie buff.
A section of the audience are relieved that here is an emotional drama with cool humour in an era when big-ticket actioners like 'KGF', 'Pushpa', 'RRR' and 'Salaar' are hogging all the limelight.
