Vishwak Sen says he won't promote his own film if...

Vishwak Sen's 'Gangs Of Godavari' will be clashing at the box-office with Nani’s 'Hi Nanna', Nithiin’s 'Extra Ordinary Man' and Varun Tej’s 'Operation Valentine' in the second week of December. Whenever there are three or four important films locking horns at the box-office, it is inevitable that one or two of the films receive step-motherly treatment, as not each producer/hero has the same degree of clout.

This is what seems to be happening now. Sen today insinuated that there is a bid to outmaneuver his movie. If his not-so-unambiguous social media post on Sunday is any indication, some influential players in the film industry want 'Gangs Of Godavari' to bypass the December second week release. This will directly benefit the other three releases.

Nani's market range will ensure big openings for 'Hi Nanna'. However, Nithiin and Varun Tej won't have it easy if Sen's film gets released. Tej's market, especially, has been down in the dumps. 'Ghani' and 'Gandeevadhaari Arjuna' flopped miserably at the box-office.

For now, Sen is adamant that his film should not be postponed at any cost to help 'Extra Ordinary Man' and 'Operation Valentine'. If that happens, he today asserted, he won't participate in the film's promotions.
