SS Rajamouli has turned a presenter for a pan-Indian biopic titled 'Made In India'. If you are wondering whose biopic it is, here is the thing: It is going to tell the story of Indian cinema itself.
Making the announcement on Tuesday, the 'RRR' maker took to social media and said that he was moved by director Nitin Kakkar's narration when he first listened to the story. "When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it.. With immense pride, Presenting MADE IN INDIA," the 'Baahubali' maker wrote. 'Made In India' sounds quite appealing and popular.
Rajamouli's son SS Karthikeya is going to produce it on Showing Business, while Varun Gupta of Max Studios is its other producer. "It's been years since I wanted to fulfill my dream of becoming a producer. The moment has come. MADE IN INDIA… With utmost responsibility, taking this up as a challenge (sic)," wrote Karthikeya.
The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Marathi.
