K Dasaradh, the director of 'Santosham' and 'Mr. Perfect' fame, is penning its screenplay. Dasaradh recently revealed that the film will not be a remake but more of an adaptation of 'Theri' (Tamil).
In recent weeks, 'BRO' and 'Bholaa Shankar' (which were remakes) didn't do well at the box-office. So, it is good that 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' has been made as an adaptation.
Starring Sree Leela as the heroine, the film has cinematography by Ayananka Bose. C Chandramohan is working as an additional writer.
On September 2, Power Star will turn a year older. On the occasion, a glimpse video of 'OG' will be released.
