At an event related to 'Gangs Of Godavari' on Wednesday, Vishwak Sen and Neha Shetty danced to a song from the movie. Since the event was held at a college in Hyderabad, the lead pair felt that they should do something unique to capture the attention of the students witnessing the event.
But the dance-off on stage, which looked spontaneous, has been ridiculed. Trolls have been claiming that the 'Falaknuma Das' actor did it in order to outdo Vijay Deverakonda. The previous day, VD and Samantha Ruth Prabhu did a similar dance-off at a musical concert of 'Kushi'. Their video clip went viral on social media.
The uninformed criticism reached the 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' actor. He took to Instagram and shared a WhatsApp convo with someone from the team of his movie. In the convo, he can be seen talking about his plan to perform the "saree step" to impress the audience at the college. The 'Kushi' event took place much later. So, Vishwak suggested, he was not imitating the 'Arjun Reddy' actor. The idea was original and not motivated by any urge to surpass the 'Kushi' event.
