Well, Kantara has brought us many surprises and now one more fact has been revealed. The old deglamorized lady who played Rishabh Shetty’s mother role in the film is Manasi Sudhir, who is actually a very young aspiring actress in Kannada. Born in Udupi, Karnataka, Manasi is reportedly very good at acting, dance, and music.
She earlier won accolades for her role in a Tulu film named Kancheelda Bale and she was also seen in a few TV serials like Mahabharata, Anthapura, and Seethe. Her short film, Neralu, won an award for the Best Film at the Bangalore International Short Film Festival which also brought her the State Award for the best children’s film.
Her role in ‘Ammana Mane,’ which released in 2019 gained her good fame. It’s actually surprising to see how effortlessly she blended into the mother role of the hero in the super hit Kantara. Many wouldn't believe that the lady looks so young and beautiful.
