Falsehoods have been written about Samantha Ruth Prabhu ever since she divorced Naga Chaitanya in 2021. Media reports said that she was paid an alimony of Rs 200 Cr by the Akkinenis. The 'Yashoda' actress condemned the rumour in the past.
In the latest instance, it has been alleged that she has received Rs 25 Cr from a Telugu hero. The reason stated by the media reports is laughable. The baseless reports stated that Sam borrowed the money from the actor because she wanted to compensate for the income shortfall she has suffered in recent years owing to her auto-immune disorder, Myositis.
Today, the 'Rangasthalam' actress laughed at the gossip. "Rs 25 Cr for Myositis treatment? Someone got you a pretty bad deal. I am glad I am only spending the smallest fraction of that," the versatile actress clarified.
"I don't think I was paid in marbles for all the work I have done in my career. So, I can easily take care of myself," she further wrote.
The actress added that Myositis is a condition affecting thousands. She urged the media to be responsible with the information that has been put out regarding the treatment.
