Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur is currently doing 'Hi Nanna' opposite Natural Star Nani and VD13 opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Telugu. Her Tamil debut has been in the works.
As per early reports, the 'Sita Ramam' beauty has bagged a Kollywood project headlined by Sivakarthikeyan. The actress will be playing an entertaining role in the untitled movie.
AR Murugadoss is the director of Mrunal's Kollywood debut. Sivakarthikeyan, who was recently seen in 'Mahaveeran' ('Mahaveerudu' in Telugu), is one of the most popular Tamil actors.
Known for 'Gumraah' and 'Lust Stories 2' in Hindi, Mrunal is in demand more down South than in Bollywood these days. Audience are also of the view that south Indian directors are offering her better, more well-rounded roles. "Why is Bollywood unable to make the best use of Mrunal's talent and beauty?" is what Netizens are asking these days.
In 'Hi Nanna', Mrunal will be seen in an intriguing role. As for VD13, the untitled film is directed by 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' maker Parasuram Petla.
