'Bholaa Shankar': Cinematographer Dudley raises hype around interval block

Ahead of the theatrical release of 'Bholaa Shankar' on August 11, cinematographer Dudley has said that the interval action sequence is going to be a major highlight. "It is going to be one step ahead of the block in the Tamil original, 'Vedhalam'," he said.

Dudley is confident that the grandeur, the action choreography (by Ram and Laxman) and AS Prakash's art direction are going to make the big-ticket release special. The film's fights and comedy alone can save it. Otherwise, there is not much going for it in terms of the story.

The director of photography of 'Chennai Express' fame bagged 'Bholaa Shankar' owing to his closeness to director Meher Ramesh. Working with the legendary Chiranjeevi and the beautiful Tamannaah Bhatia-Keerthy Suresh duo was a great experience, Dudley recounts.

The film, produced by AK Entertainments, has music by Mahati Swara Sagar. This is Sagar's first movie with Chiranjeevi. About 15 artists from the TV industry have been cast in the film. 'Bholaa Shankar' is one of the biggest releases of the year. It will be released a day after Rajinikanth's 'Jailer'.
