Gunasekhar cannot stop Rana's Hiranyakashyap-Here's why?

It appears that many movie enthusiasts are expressing concerns about Gunasekhar's ability to enchant audiences, given the lukewarm reception to his latest venture, "Samantha's Shaakuntalam," based on the Sakuntala-Dushyantha story. Now, entrusting him with the task of bringing "Hiranyakashipa" to life is seen as a risky proposition and that is the reason Rana launched the film on his own with Trivikram's backing.

Likewise, Rana Daggubati's ambition to create a grand VFX-laden film for this tale would undoubtedly require a director of great stature, beyond Trivikram's remarkable writing skills alone. It is a known fact that Gunasekhar is upset and has challenged that he will stop the film from going on floors. However, there is a crucial point that everyone should consider.

The narrative of "Hiranyakashipa" is rooted in Hindu mythology, spanning thousands of years. Consequently, Gunasekhar can claim copyright over the story. It is open for any filmmaker to adapt, but what truly matters is how well they present it to the audience.

The recent disappointments with adaptations like Om Raut's "Ramayanam" and Prabhas' "Adipurush" have left some viewers apprehensive, hoping that filmmakers handle Lord Vishnu's Narasimha avatar tale with the utmost respect and creativity.

In a way, audiences hope that whoever takes on this sacred tale does so with a reverence for the mythology and the ability to captivate viewers with a compelling and visually stunning presentation. Let's see what happens in the days to come.
