Anand Deverakonda must keep Kalyanram's graph in mind

Thanks to 'Baby', Anand Deverakonda is the only Tier-3 hero with a notable blockbuster at the box office. He has surpassed his cohorts such as Sri Simha Koduri, Aadi Saikumar, and Allu Sirish. Following the triple blockbuster of the movie, Anand is expected to land some exciting offers.

That said, nothing is cast in stone. Nandamuri Kalyanram delivered an unexpected blockbuster last year with 'Bimbisara'. What happened next was a thorough disappointment. 'Amigos', which was released in February this year, didn't get good openings. The film was a disaster. Anand must avoid such an eventuality.

There is an upside. Kalyanram's next two films are big-scale movies. 'Devil: A British Agent' and his film with Pradeep Chilukuri are big-budget movies. 'Bimbisara' alone made the latter possible. 'Baby' might result in Anand doing films whose budget is in the range of Rs 10-15 Cr.

Time alone will reveal whether 'Baby' has granted Anand a lasting level of popularity. Hopefully, there is a segment of the audience that will eagerly anticipate watching his movies, regardless of the trailer, genre, or content. Such a devoted following alone has the potential to elevate him to the next level of stardom.
