Gunasekhar takes a dig at Trivikram's project with Rana Daggubati

Yesterday, Rana Daggubati announced a project titled 'Hiranyakashyap' with Trivikram Srinivas as the story-writer. The film will be led and produced by the 'Baahubali' actor.

Director Gunasekhar took to social media and made a cryptic dig at Trivikram taking over the project. The 'Okkadu' director had worked on the project under the aegis of Rana and Ramanaidu Studios for years before it was shelved for some reason. The epic-scale film, to be made in multiple languages, has now been revived with Trivikram. It seems the 'Shaakuntalam' maker feels that Trivikram stole it from him.

"While making God the central theme of your story, you must also keep in mind that God keeps an eye on your integrity. Unethical acts will be answered through ethical means," Guna wrote on Twitter.

In an interview in April, the 'Choodalani Undhi' and 'Rudhrama Devi' maker said that Trivikram offered to write dialogues for the film at first. "I felt happy. There is no better writer than him out there. But some ethical considerations have to be respected," Guna told a YouTube channel.

It has to be seen how  will handle the fallout if Guna takes recourse to legal means to stall the project.
