Fans of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan should blame tasteless directors

On Sunday, Chiranjeevi put out a video clip in which he is seen imitating Pawan Kalyan in a 'Bholaa Shankar' song. The brief clip has not flattered even his die-hard fans. Mega fans are thoroughly disappointed with the artificial staging of 'Yeh Mera Jahaan' by the 'GodFather' actor.

Earlier, in the 2016 movie 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', Pawan imitated the Veena step as a tribute to his brother's exceptional dancing skills. The Power Star, unfortunately, also happened to mouth the 'Mokke kada ani peekesthe' punchline from 'Indra' as if he was an acting novice giving an audition. The whole thing was embarrassing, to say the least.

Trolls don't dive into the fundamental reasons for such on-screen abominations. The buck stops with the director. Blame the director, first and foremost. Bame the director, please.

Most of today's filmmakers are useless when it comes to paying tributes or conceiving hat tips. They believe that just the presence of a big star will do the magic. They underestimate the tastes of the average audience.

Look at how SS Rajamouli creatively staged the remix of 'Bangaru Kodi Petta' in 'Magadheera'. That's how you pay tributes to legends and iconic film moments. Directors like Bobby and Meher Ramesh are laughably inept to recreate mass masala moments. Instead of nostalgia, their creations evoke embarrassment.
