'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' fame Nandita Swetha has revealed that she has been suffering from Fibromyalgia for the past 3-4 years. In her latest interview, the heroine said that she has been informed that the painful condition is a life-long thing.
"It started in my case due to stress and sleep-related issues. It has been spreading in my body over the years. This is the first time I am making it public," the actress said today. "Fibromyalgia causes pain in your muscles and joints throughout your body. It can also make you feel fatigued and cause mental symptoms like memory problems," says a post on the disorder by Clevel and Clinic.
Nandita further clarified that it's not an auto-immune disorder (Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Myositis is one). "I am not supposed to work out too much or go on a strict diet regimen. Yet, I decided to shed some kilos for the cop's role in 'Hidimbha'," Nandita said.
'Hidimbha', which has Nandita in the second most important role, will hit the screens on July 20.
Nandita also revealed that she was offered the role Payal Rajput did in 'RX 100'. "I couldn't do the film. But I am glad that I am doing Ajay Bhupathi's next film, 'Mangalavaaram'," she added.
