The theatrical release of 'Animal', Ranbir Kapoor's first pan-India movie, has been postponed. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga today revealed that the film will hit the screens on December 1.
Announcing the new release date, the 'Kabir Singh' director said that post-production works are taking longer than expected. "I will give an example. Suppose, my film has got 7 songs. If I am releasing the movie in 5 languages, it means that there are 35 songs. In each language, each song must be recorded separately. A unique set of writers, technicians and singers has to bring those songs out. That's why the delay. I don't want 'Animal' to look like a dubbed movie in non-Hindi versions. To ensure quality, we are taking time," Vanga said.
The pre-teaser of the multi-lingual release was put out on June 11. The 'Brahmastra' actor's film, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar, is one of the most-awaited Bollywood features of the year.
Edited and written by the director himself, its action choreography has been handled by Supreme Sundar. Harshvardhan Rameshwar (BGM), Suresh Selvarajan (production design), and Saurabh Gupta (Hindi version's dialogues) have worked on the movie.
