'Yatra 2', directed by Mahi V Raghav, will go on the floors soon. On Saturday, the filmmaker dropped its release announcement poster.
The political drama, based on the meteoric rise of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, will be released in theatres in February 2024, just two months ahead of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. The pro-YCP movie will also pay tribute to YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
In the release announcement poster, we see a silhouette-like image of Jagan greeting crowds in his typical style. "I may not be known to the world today. But you must remember one thing: I am YS Rajasekhara Reddy's son," the poster reads.
Produced by Shiva Meka, the film will come out on the banners V Celluloid and Three Autumn Leaves. Madhie is going to crank the camera.
As has been speculated, Santosh Narayanan is going to compose music. He is also doing Prabhas' 'Project K' these days.
Earlier, it was Mahi who directed 'Yatra', a biopic on YSR. 'Yatra 2' is expected to be made on a rich scale.
