Sankranthi 2024 is going to be a huge one even if Prabhas' 'Project K' is not released in theatres. Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Kaaram' is confirmed to release for the festival.
Ravi Teja's 'Eagle' has been confirmed for the festival. Then there is 'Hanu-Man', the pan-India movie. Teja Sajja, a long-time admirer of the Mass Maharaja, will find himself competing with 'Eagle' with his most important movie ever.
If everything goes well, Chiranjeevi will be shooting for a Kalyan Krishna directorial. The untitled film will also release for Sankranthi.
The situation will continue to alter in the coming months:
Nothing is finalized as yet. 'Project K' moving out of the Sankranthi race and 'Pushpa 2' releasing in December this year will result in a lot of rejigging. Nani's 30th movie and/or Venaktesh's 'Saindhav' might be postponed from December 2023 to Sankranthi 2024 if Allu Arjun's movie hits the screens in December. Even Vijay Deverakonda's 13th movie has an extremely slim chance of seeing a Sankranthi release.
Pawan Kalyan's 'OG' is also raring to be released either in December this year or Sankranthi next year. Any which way you look at it, January 2024 is going to be super exciting!
