Prabhas' first-ever sci-fi project has onboarded Kamal Haasan. Director Nag Ashwin, who is directing 'Project K' with the 'Adipurush' star as the leading man, has roped in Kamal Haasan for a key role in the sci-fi movie.
"We needed someone whose shadow could cover the earth. There was only one Ulaga Nayagan," Vyjayanthi Movies tweeted, putting out an announcement video. The grandiloquent description says it all. The video clip serves as a tribute to the career of the 'Vikram' actor. Shots from some of his most popular movies such as 'Sagarasangamam' are shown.
'Project K', whose actual title will be announced at an event in the US in the first or second week of July, also features another legendary actor: Amitabh Bachchan. Big B's role will be far more significant than that of the 'Indian 2' star.
Featuring Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in other roles, the film's shoot is not yet completed.
The film's music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The cinematography is by Djordje Stojiljkovic, while the production design is by Nitin Zihani Choudhary.
Most probably, it will bypass the Sankranthi 2024 release schedule. A new release date might be announced in July or August.
