The teaser for Ram Gopal Varma's 'Vyooham' is out. Sharing the same digitally, the controversial filmmaker said that the film explores the "true story of various plots weaved by various people for various agendas after the sudden death of YSR (sic)".
Usually, filmmakers never describe political films as true stories to avoid legal hassles and threats. RGV has done it boldly.
As per Netizens, Varma has the backing of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, whose character is shown in a positive light as a hero-in-the-making in the teaser. His mother, his wife and other characters in his life have been shown in a favourable or sympathetic light by the ostensibly pro-YCP movie.
The unexpected demise of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, one of the biggest mass leaders in India in the 2000s, is what triggers a battery of political developments in the movie. It will be interesting to see how the incidents have been dramatized.
TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has been shown as feeling happy about the untimely death of then AP CM YSR, who was his bete noir.
The release date of 'Vyooham' is yet to be announced.
