Story of 'OG' is the only hope for Pawan Kalyan's fans

If there is one thing on which Pawan Kalyan's fans are betting big these days, it is the story of 'OG'. The film is written by 'Saaho' director Sujeeth, who comes with a 50:50 track record. Yet, hopes are high for the movie because of its genre.

There is another reason why the fanboys out there have gigantic hopes for the movie. 'OG' is one of the few exciting original projects done by Power Star in the last 12 years.

Since the 2011 movie 'Teen Maar', the Jana Sena chief has done fifteen movies, out of which eight were remakes. Among the original ones, 'Attarintiki Daredi' and 'Cameraman Gang Tho Rambabu' are the only films that carried some hope and hype. Although 'Panjaa' and 'Agnyaathavaasi' were original movies, they were deemed largely underwhelming even before they were released.

Among Pawan's upcoming movies, there is no buzz around 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' despite it being an original movie. 'BRO' and 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' are remakes.

'OG' is the only film that seems to have got an unpredictable story. You could say that Pawan hasn't done a story-based movie of this sort in more than a decade. One hopes 'OG' is not inspired by any foreign movie.
