MM Keeraani didn't elect him for 'Naatu Naatu' because of the Bigg Boss title. Abijeet Duddala, Rahul's successor, was seen in a web anthology and that's his only meaningful role since the reality show.
VJ Sunny, the fifth season's title winner, awaits the release of his most important movie this week. 'Unstoppable' will hit the screens on June 9.
The comedy entertainer needs to become a hit if Sunny can hope to be cast in prominent roles in films. So far, the track record of BB title winners has been uninspiring. Sunny needs to show that he is a talented artist.
In a recent interview, Sunny said that he is not looking for lead roles alone. That's a sensible strategy. BB participant Sohel Ryan, on the other hand, has burnt his fingers. Both his films, 'Lucky Lakshman' and 'Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu', bombed at the box office.
