It is known that, in 2021, Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested in connection with a drugs case. Aryan spent about a month in jail. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has since absolved him of all cases.
On Friday, in a sensational leak, the 'Pathaan' actor's alleged chats with an important former NCB official surfaced on the Internet. In the chats, SRK is seen begging a former zonal director of Mumbai NCB, named Sameer Wankhede, to go soft on his son.
"I hope you feel my son has had the lesson you felt he should have had and henceforth he is able to build his life to be an upright hardworking young man towards a bright future," the 'Jawan' actor is seen telling the official, promising that his son will make amends.
The chats were submitted in a court and, therefore, they are believed to be authentic.
There is this accusation that the official attempted to extort Rs 25 Cr from the Bollywood actor to secure the release of his son from jail. The official has now submitted the chats to prove that he didn't try to do any extortion.
