Nani's heroine gives clarity after Rashmika Mandanna controversy

Recently, Aishwarya Rajesh of 'Tuck Jagadish' fame happened to say that she would have loved to play Srivalli in 'Pushpa'. Her comments were distorted by a section of the media. The 'Worl Famous Lover' actress was misquoted as saying that she would have done a better job than Rashmika Manadnna.

On Wednesday, Aishwarya took to social media and issued a clarification. The 'Farhana' actress said that her comments were misconstrued.

She clarified that she didn't disparage the fantastic work done by Rashmika in the Allu Arjun-starrer. "I wish to clear the confusion that seems to have ensued and clarify very clearly that I have nothing but profound admiration for Rashmika's work in the film and that I have immense respect for all my fellow actors and actresses," the 'Republic' actress said.

She asked rumour-peddlers to stop what they are doing. She said that motives can't be attributed to innocuous statements.
