Priyanka Chopra's latest show Citadel is now out on Prime Video and has not got the kind of great reviews that were expected. The show is being remade with Samantha as the heroine alongside Varun Dhawan.
Well, all these days, the audience was thinking that the show is a remake but today Samantha has clarified to the world that the show is not a remake on social media and only the show is the base concept of the original.
One of the users wrote: "@samantharuthprabhuoffl I have one question Is Priyanka's Citadel and your Citadel the same story?? Why I am asking is Priyanka is dubbed in all Indian languages... so if you are doing the same story for Indian audiences then many would have already watched it. I am a bit confused... can you clarify if it's the same or different?? BTW (by the way) happy birthday dear... God bless you!!. Replying to the user, Samantha said: "It is not a REMAKE!!"
Samantha will be seen in an action-packed avatar in this show which is being directed by Raj and DK who earlier directed her in The Family Man 2 which was a big hit on OTT. We need to see how Citadel will fare when it comes out.
