The next Friday (April 28) is going to witness a competition between Akhil Akkineni's 'Agent' and 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' in Telugu. The latter is an epic movie directed by Mani Ratnam, but the buzz for it is minimal in Telugu.
Incidentally, both films are going to be released by Dil Raju in Nizam. Raju is the one who released the first edition of Mani Ratnam's movie in 2022. He has held on to the movie even though the response to 'PS 1' was not great in Telugu.
'Agent', Akhil's costliest movie, has been taken over by Dil Raju in Nizam. He and AK Entertainments are said to have good relations. 'Agent' is directed by Surender Reddy.
The next weekend will likely see 'Agent' earning bigger amounts.
