The news of Tarak's Bollywood debut with War 2 has sent fans into a frenzy. However, some reports claimed that the role offered to NTR was initially intended for Prabhas or Vijay Deverakonda. But a new report has clarified that NTR Jr. was the first and only choice of Aditya Chopra for War 2.
The character was reportedly written with NTR's traits in mind and the War 2 team had been in talks with him for the last five months. It is also reported that if NTR had declined the offer, the team would have reworked the character and cast someone from Bollywood.
War 2 is expected to feature a face-off between two superstars, Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, and is set to commence shooting in November 2023. It should be noted that Prabhas and Vijay Deverakonda were not considered for the role opposite Hrithik Roshan.
