The song 'Natu Natu' from the movie RRR received a lot of praise, including an Oscar award. However, there has been criticism over the lack of credit given to the film's producer, DVV Danayya, and his absence during the celebrations.
Keeravani and Chandra Bose, who received the recent Oscar award, were honored by Tollywood celebrities, but Danayya's absence has drawn criticism. Various film associations, including the Writers Association, Film Chamber, Music Association, Directors Association, Producers Council, and FNCC, organized a congratulatory event at the Shilpakala venue.
However, Rahul Sipliganj, who sang the 'Natu Natu' song, and choreographer Prem Rakshit, who worked on the RRR film produced by Danayya, were not present at the event. This has led to questions about giving credit to unrelated people while ignoring those associated with the song.
Some people have also questioned the credit given to individuals who have nothing to do with the RRR film or the 'Natu Natu' song. For example, Keeravani said he won the Oscar only for Ramoji Rao, and Rana praised Rama Naidu, leaving out those directly involved in the song.
Even the absence of President Manchu Vishnu from the event has raised questions about the use of their logo without an invitation. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, a well-known figure in the film industry, expressed surprise that the credits were not given to people like Rahul Sipliganj, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, and Prem Rakshit, who were involved in the creation of the song. Some critics have questioned the efforts of those who were not recognized, such as Burra Saimadhav and Vijayendra Prasad, even though Rajamouli compared them to Pandavas.
