The tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli's epic film RRR received four major awards at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards in Los Angeles, including the prestigious Best International Film award. The director and one of the lead actors, Ram Charan, were present at the event to accept the awards on behalf of the film. However, the absence of Jr NTR, the other lead actor, caused a stir among fans and led to rumors that he was not invited to the ceremony.

To put an end to the controversy, the Hollywood Critics Association issued a statement on Tuesday morning, confirming that Jr NTR was indeed invited to the event. However, the actor was unable to attend as he was busy shooting for a project in India at the time.

Hollywood Critics Association's statement read: "Dear RRR fans and supporters, We did invite N T Rama Rao Jr. to attend the HCA Film Awards but he is shooting a new film in India. He will be receiving his awards from us shortly. Thank you for all your love and support. Sincerely, The Hollywood Critics Association." Despite Jr NTR's absence, RRR emerged as a big winner at the awards ceremony, showcasing the immense popularity and global appeal of Indian cinema.
