Acclaimed producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni is gearing up to deliver a heartwarming cinematic experience under his banner, Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments. Titled ‘Summer Holidays’ and directed by Srikar Nayan, the nostalgic family drama centers on a beautiful narrative celebrating childhood innocence, timeless friendships, and the magic of village vacations.
Featuring young talents Master Rohan, Master Arun, and Baby Khushi in pivotal roles, the film is locked for a grand worldwide theatrical release tomorrow, November 6. Ahead of its premiere, the makers hosted an engaging pre-release press meet in Hyderabad.
Dheeraj Mogilineni: “It’s a Children’s Film with a Deep Message for Adults”
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni emphasized that Summer Holidays transcends the boundaries of a conventional children's movie, holding a mirror to the societal pressures placed on modern youth while evoking powerful nostalgia:
“We often make children feel like their future is doomed if they don’t score top ranks. But through Rohan’s character, our film delivers a crucial message: whatever life throws at us, we must face challenges with courage. The story follows a city boy whose world is strictly limited to textbooks. When he visits his grandmother’s village during the summer holidays, he meets Rohan, who teaches him invaluable life lessons. While Rohan is mischievous, he carries his own struggles. This film will awaken the child inside every adult, making you yearn to call your childhood friends and spend time with your grandparents. We have made a film that is 200% worth watching—not a single person will walk out disappointed.”
Director Srikar Nayan and the Young Cast Share Their Journey
Director Srikar Nayan shared how a simple two-line thought blossomed into a full-fledged 115-minute emotional entertainer:
“Inspired by profound storytelling traditions, we shaped this script by blending pure emotional depth with engaging commercial elements. From the first day of shooting to the final cut, our positive energy has remained unbroken. Audiences will not feel bored for a single minute.”
Young actor Master Arun noted how the film opened his eyes to the selfless bond of 1990s friendships, while Master Rohan credited his mother’s tireless support for helping him pursue his cinematic dreams. Co-star Baby Khushi added that the film balances wholesome entertainment with an impactful social takeaway.
