Odia Blockbuster ‘Jadi’ Heading to Tollywood: Mega Productions Drops First Telugu Glimpse
Following its commercial run in the Odia film industry, the crime comedy-drama Jadi (The Untold Side of IF) is set to make its way to Telugu screens. Mega Productions, spearheaded by Udugula Ashwini Kumar Goud, has secured the rights to present the crossover release to the Tollywood market.
Written and directed by Dibya Jyoti Udaya Singh and produced by Kajal Ray under the Shreeansh Productions banner, the film features Sailendra Samantaray, Priyambada Swain, and Akash Hota in headlining roles, supported by Susant Dash Mohapatra, Rabi Mishra, Balakrishna Nayak, and Krishna Rout.
The Glimpse: Rural Camaraderie Meets Deception
To mark the start of the Telugu campaign, Mega Productions unveiled an introductory glimpse that establishes the film's milieu and character dynamics.
Set in a rustic village backdrop, the video opens with the everyday camaraderie of college youngsters before drifting into a blossoming romance. The tone shifts abruptly as simmering rivalries, mistrust, and dark comedy take center stage, exposing fractured bonds among the friend group. Rather than leaning purely into conventional romance, the narrative balances comedic beats with a crime-infused storyline.
