From Times Square to Mass Ka Das: Rural Drama ‘Rayavalasa’ Amplifies Pre-Release Buzz with New Single
Debut director Radhika Jayanthi’s upcoming Telugu rural drama Rayavalasa is making bold promotional moves ahead of its theatrical release on December 11. Produced by Gopi Krishna Jayanthi under the Raysun Productions banner, the rustic entertainer features newcomers Karthik Jayanthi and Sreesha Nulu as the lead pair, supported by an established character cast including Anita Chowdary, Ravi Varma, Jayaprakash, and Kasi Viswanath.
Global Visibility: Andhra Folk Lands on Broadway
In an unconventional marketing push for a newcomer-led Telugu project, visuals from the film’s maiden track, “Ringudu Ringudu”, were showcased on a billboard at New York City’s Times Square. The Andhra folk melody, rendered by Dhanunjay and Sahithi Chaganti, has already crossed 1.2 million digital views. Projecting native folk rhythms onto one of the world's highest-density commercial landmarks marks a distinct promotional path for a debutant project aiming to cut through mainstream clutter.
Vishwak Sen Unveils Second Track ‘Maa Ooru Rayavalasa’
Building on that momentum, the team released the film's second single, titled “Maa Ooru Rayavalasa”, launched by Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen. The track features vocals by Oscar-winning Naatu Naatu playback singer Rahul Sipligunj, leaning into an energetic village anthem style.
Endorsing the composition, Vishwak Sen shared:
“The content of Rayavalasa is promising, and the song is fantastic. Rahul has sung it brilliantly. My best wishes to the entire team for the release.”
