"A Slight Delay for Uncompromising Quality": Naga Vamsi Confirms Postponement of Venkatesh-Trivikram’s ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam’
The highly anticipated family entertainer ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam – House No. 47’ (AK47), marking the celebrated reunion of Victory Venkatesh and writer-director Trivikram Srinivas, will not be hitting theatres on its previously locked date of October 9, 2026.
Addressing the media at a special press meet in Hyderabad, producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi openly addressed the situation, clarifying that the decision to delay the release stems purely from minor backlogs in post-production and a collective refusal to rush out an unpolished final cut.
Bankrolled by S. Radha Krishna (China Babu) under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations, the film represents one of the biggest collaboration landmarks on the Telugu cinema calendar this season.
"We Chose Perfection Over Deadlines" — Naga Vamsi Explains
Opening up about the timeline crunch, producer Naga Vamsi shared candid insights on why the team made the eleventh-hour call:
"Until three or four days ago, our entire unit was completely confident about arriving on October 9. We had even initiated overseas ticketing advance bookings. However, by yesterday morning, we realized we were still three to four days behind schedule on the final audio-visual mix, leaving us unable to submit the final master for overseas censorship in time.
Rather than hastily stitching things together just to make a release window, we collectively felt it was wiser to step back, ensure meticulous quality checks across every frame and audio cue, and deliver the film at its absolute best. We also wanted ample breathing space to carry out a full-fledged promotional tour."
Promising fans that the patience will pay off generously, Vamsi added:
"We will finalize an ideal new theatrical window in the next two to three weeks after sitting down with Venkatesh Garu. In the interim, we will drop the remaining songs, roll out the theatrical trailer, and launch extensive ground promotions across Telugu states and beyond. Though 'Aadarsha Kutumbam' arrives a little late, I assure you it will be a 100% satisfying treat for every single Venkatesh fan."
